The Friends of Hogshaw, remain steadfast in our objection to Barratt Homes’ revised planning application in Buxton (reference: HPK/2023/0192). Our primary concerns include the significant flood risks posed by the development, which could endanger both existing and future residents. We are also alarmed by the potential decrease in air quality and the severe contamination risks from asbestos due to the excavation of the old tip. Previously, we submitted a petition signed by outraged residents, underscoring our collective resolve to protect our environment and demand sustainable development.
